Day 02 - Anuradhapura > Sigiriya
Our sightseeing tours in Sri Lanka proceed to the town of Sigiriya after breakfast. Mount Sigiriya, a stunning rock fortification built in the fifth century, in the dusk. Observe the architectural feat of a king’s citadel that was hewn out of a huge rock in the fifth century A.D.
Day 03 - Sigiriya > Polonnaruwa (Back to Sigiriya)
Learn about Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as Sri Lanka’s medieval capital during the 11th and 13th centuries A.D., one of the better preserved historic Ceylonese ruins. Visit Lankathilaka, Thuparamaya, the Royal Palace, Rankoth Vehera, and Gal Viharaya as part of a walking tour of one of the historic Ceylonese ruins.
After the visit, Polonnaruwa will come back to again Sigiriya at night.
Day 04 - Sigiriya > Kandy
Take in the vistas as you travel by rail through the countryside from Sigiriya to Kandy, including waterfalls, tea plantations, villages, woods, and mountains. Get settled into your homestay in Kandy’s lovely highlands; spend time in a natural setting in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and luscious paddy fields.
Day 05 - Kandy > Nuwara Eliya
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. Visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda on the way there. The Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka established a temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity atop these Ramboda hills where Hanuman was looking for Sitadevi. Thousands of devotees attend special poojas that are held on every full moon day.
Day 06 - Nuwara Eliya > Ella
Today, take a journey to the lovely town of Ella.
Welcome to everyone’s favorite hill country village, where you can take a few relaxing days off from traveling and unwind at one of the nicest guesthouses in the region. Through Ella Gap, there are breathtaking views.
Visit the stunning Rawana waterfalls early in the day. Later, climb Little Adams Peak for a bird’s-eye view of the 9 Arc Bridge and the setting sun.

With any luck, a naturalist guide-led evening jeep safari will allow you to see all of these animals as well as more.
Day 08 - Yala > Mirissa
After finishing the safari we came to the Mirissa in the morning. There’s a solid reason why Mirissa is one of the most well-liked beach towns in southern Sri Lanka.
